Treatment for conditions not yet approved by the FDA is generally not covered by insurance and is not available at hospital based hyperbaric centers. As an independent, free-standing clinic, The Colorado Center for Hyperbaric Medicine is able to accommodate the need and circumstances of any patient our medical staff believes would benefit from HBOT. In circumstances in which insurance coverage is not available, several payment options and financing are available.
Insurance
As an independent, free-standing provider of hyperbaric oxygen therapy, The Colorado Center for Hyperbaric Medicine is an in-network member of many major insurance plans. As a non-hospital provider, patients’ financial responsibility are typically far less than in a hospital, which charge multiple co-pays and have higher co-insurance responsibilities and higher reimbursement rates
Hyperbaric treatments for conditions approved by the FDA are typically covered by insurance. If your insurance policy is not accepted or we are not in-network, our insurance professionals will work to assist with reimbursement and bill the health plan out of network. Some patients with out of network plans may qualify for an out of network exception at our center. Contact us today to find out more.
